Mellow Yellow

Taking a break at Boracay (or taking a break at any place) meant that its time to stay away from the normal everyday activity, or even everyday food. But for some reason, we decided to eat at Shakey's (among all the restaurants that Boracay offered). Weird huh?

I've always commended the service of shakey's but this time, it was disappointing. Nonetheless, i still enjoyed my faves: chocolate super shake and basket of mojos (and I wonder why i never seem to loose weight).

Left to right: my cousin joven, me, my papa (as usual, on the phone), and my mama.

During our stay in Boracay, I took some time to go shopping for some souvenirs to give to my boif back at home. Our hotel was really near the mall but i decided go beyond the "d mall", as they call it, and went on a tour around the island. Eventually, I found myself in an ordinary store, selling ordinary stuff, but had this really cool vintage furniture

Now, I don't usually wear a midrib top but, hey, were in Boracay after all! People walk here in their underwear! In my attempt to dress accordingly ( to explore the island of Boracay aside from its beautiful shore + shopping but still keep the island vibe), I opted for my comfy plain midrib top,  sheer floral pants,  rubber ducky waterproof bag (to keep my valuables dry and safe), and accessorized with my sunnies from oakley, necklace, and havaianas (again, beach vibe + shopping, exploring the island).

After spending the entire morning shopping, we went to Talipapa (think, cheap seafood place) for lunch.

After our trip to Manila, we went on a 12 hour road trip to Boracay. One of the best summer destination here in the Philippines. Being a beach bum, i was excited beyond measure, (although I've been here more than 5 times already) I don't think I can ever be tired of visiting Boracay. Of course, I took time to snap some photos of what I wore even if I was tempted to just run from my room and jump into the waves the strong winds brought to the waters. We went there on a windy season hence the large waves, especially when the tide is high. Good thing it was sunny and it did not rain throughout our stay.

So, here it is, DAY 1

one piece swimsuit: forever 21

MANILA DAY 2: Tagaytay Highlands (On Higher Grounds)

It's been like, forever since i last blogged! Our internet connection went crazy, and so did I when I found out i could not blog.
Anyway, so this is the second installment of my MANILA blog.
We went to Tagaytay Highlands on the second day or our trip.

The cold tagaytay weather calls for my red scarf from SM accessories, dotted mullet sweater, lace shorts to keep everything girly, envelope bag, and floral sneakers for the long walks.

Hey guys! I'm back! My vacation deprived me of my internet addiction for a week. Crazy, right? Here's the good thing though, I was able to take some photos of my looks! So here's how my vacay went:

top: romwe
high waist shorts: emporio armani
waterproof bag: rubber ducky dry bag
shoes: havaianas

With my country's confusing weather, i decided to wear a sheer button down floral top, plus a high waist shorts with  flipflops. And then, it started to rain. Good thing i brought my rubber ducky bag to keep my things dry.

DAY 1: Now Iv'e been to Manila a lot of times, to actually consider myself a local (note, i can ride the public utility vehicle). My cousins on the other hand don't visit Manila as often as I do. So, on our first day, i decided to take them to Enchanted Kingdom (a theme park).

And since my grandfather's house was really near, we decided to pay him a visit. I really miss my lolo since we really haven't seen him in a long time. He's a war veteran from the u.s. For an 88 years old, he's still really healthy.

Also, we visited the biggest mall so far in the Philippines, the Mall of Asia.
