On one of our trips around Manila, we decided to take the PNR (Philippine National Railway). And I'm glad because we were able to avoid the terrible traffic. As we entered the train, I realized that I was overdressed (hey, can't blame me!)

 with my first-time-train-commuter-sister Pyan

We finished off our tiring day with a treat! Korean buffet dinner located just beside our hotel which tuned out to be our comfort food throughout the whole trip.

The owner's 97 year old mother even joined us which disappointed boif Gary because lola here ate his food.

After dinner, we had street ice cream for dessert. This vendor even served sugar cone with his ice cream!

I don't really like green for some reason. When I found this military green cardigan I was a little hesitant to buy it thinking that I wouldn't find anything in my closet that would go with the piece. However, the zipper details in the shoulder was so cool that I had to get it. And as I packed my things and organized my outfits, I found out that it can be worn with so many items! You'll probably be seeing this in my future blog posts.

When I said that half of my life is in Manila, I was just making an exaggeration. But apparently, I find myself actually spending half of my months (for so many unexpected reasons) in Manila. Maybe I missed out on God's sign for me or something (panic mode!).

Pleated With Pleasure

Ok, it has seriously been such a long time since I blogged. My schedule has been a whirlwind and every time I turn on my laptop, I would suddenly find a task that needs to be finished stat!

So this post is actually the second part of my nth time Manila trip. It was the birthday of my boif's brother-in-law and we, as always, went to an Asian buffet. So, I wore my ultimate buffet outfit (more like loose top done in a fashionable way). A loose, and pleated, top to hide my soon to be over sized stomach due to binge eating. High waist shorts with matching bag, and blue hair. Plus, the only flip flops I bought.
I absolutely love the floral shoulder strap of my top because it makes me look so girly.

Once again I am in Manila. For some reason, i keep coming back here almost every month. Can't complain though. So, I'm here again with my boif to visit his family. On this day, we went to a mall to take his home-schooled nephew to his weekly reading lessons. Since the weather was extremely hot, I decided to wear the most comfortable clothing inside my luggage, a white maxi dress and flip flops. Now Iv'e been obsessed with white and maxis lately and I just started exploring flats so most likely, there will be more posts about these items in the blogs to come.

this is Jacob in his reading class: Gary's nephew whom I love soooo much!

The mall we went to was an outdoor mall so we were walking under the heat of the sun. We headed to Jamba Juice to cool off which offered a tremendous amount of relief!

thanks! :>

Hey guys, Just got home from a quick vacay with mi familia at Imperial Palace. Hence the reason why I haven't blogged since I arrived from Manila. Ill tell you all about it in my future blogs. In the mean time, here's a blog post with an interesting story.

On this normal day, I took my cousin Kate to a go-see. As I was about to park my car, I saw Bumblebee!! Ok, not the actual Bumblebee from the movie Transformers, but it's the same car with somewhat similar design. Just so you know, I have no idea who owns this car. Oops!

I was so psyched that I parked my car right beside it! haha

And took tons of photos like an excited mom on a kid's prom night.

And then when I couldn't take it anymore...I finally summoned the guts to pose beside it (because the owner wasn't really around).

It even had this cute Transformers logo!

My boif gary decided to join me too.

And my cousin Kate who was the reason why we came here in the first place.

White Wedding

Just a few weeks ago (still in Cebu), two of my close friends got married. It was one of the most intimate wedding I've ever witnessed. At the end of the ceremony, a rainbow made their day more amazing. As a wedding planner, being a guest was such a relief, I was just sitting down and not worrying about anything except having a good time. It was kinda odd but it gave me a wedding experience from a viewpoint of an attendee which is something really useful for events coordinators.

F.Y.I: I am not wearing white because I want to be like the bride. A wedding etiquette book stated that a guest should not wear that color to a wedding. But, the invitation said to come in white. So, I decided to wear this white button down dress that has been hiding in my closet for years. Gold accessories for that Greek goddess look and, since I had enough time to prep up, I cured my hombre dyed hair.
